Where Are They Now: Jemima Harrison

Where Are They Now - Jemima Harrison

Jemima’s journey at Queen Ethelburga’s began in 2015 when she joined King’s Magna. From the very start, she embraced every opportunity, forming lifelong friendships and excelling in her studies.

Her enthusiasm and dedication saw her transition into QE Faculty in 2017, where she discovered a passion for learning—particularly in History, Psychology, and English Language at A Level. Beyond academics, she thrived in extracurricular activities, making her mark in swimming and girls' football while also taking on leadership roles as Senior Girl and E House Prefect.

In 2021, Jemima took her passion for history and learning to the University of Warwick, specialising in medical history. Her dedication to healthcare and leadership led her to an exciting career path—she is now part of the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme, working as an Operational Manager in the Head & Neck Department at York Hospital. Alongside her role, she is furthering her expertise by pursuing a Master’s in Healthcare Leadership.

Reflecting on her time at QE, Jemima describes it as “one of the most rewarding periods of my life,” a time that not only shaped her career aspirations but also fostered her closest friendships.

We are incredibly proud of everything Jemima has accomplished and can’t wait to see where her journey takes her next!
