Queen Ethelburga's Students Win Multiple Awards At The ISA Competitions
Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate (QE) are celebrating after winning three awards in the Independent Schools Association (ISA) Music Competition.
Year 11 QE College student, Isaac T, won 1st Place in the Senior Young Musician Competition whilst Chapter House Year 4 pupil, Benjamin J, won 2nd place in the Junior ISA Young Musician of the Year competition. Sixth form student, Priscilla, also received a Judge's Award in the ISA Musical National Competition. All three students are ecstatic with their achievements.

QE are also thrilled that Benjamin J went on to further success with 1st Place at the Harrogate Competitive Festival for Music, Speech and Drama in the U10 Piano Solo category.
More success followed as Year 13 QE College student, Hannah M, won the prestigious ISA Shakespeare Monologue Competition and fellow sixth former, Emily, won the ISA Northern Arts Award in the Photography KS5 category with her work titled 'Hidden'. The Collegiate is buzzing with all the recent commendations for individuals. Head of College, Mr Steven Turner, said of all the recent success:
