One of the most popular roles young people enter the industry in is as a lifeguard; this is because you can start training at the age of 15 and take the assessment from the day of your 16th birthday. It is one of the most affordable industry qualifications and once qualified it pays a competitive wage! The Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer can also be obtained at age 16, however they require significantly more financial outlay.
