At QE Training Academy we promote a culture that values equality, diversity, inclusion, fairness and respect to minimise possible barriers to participation.

Inclusive Learning

Our training team are experienced in meeting a variety of physical, mental, social and learning development needs.

All learners are encouraged to discuss any needs or possible barriers with the training team prior to attending training. This will ensure that we can provide you with an inclusive training experience through reasonable adjustments to the programme delivery/resources/learning environment to optimise your progress and achievement. Differentiated tasks are provided as required and resources adapted for any identified or emerging learning/access needs.

English as an Additional Language

For participants with English as an additional language, where appropriate translated training materials can be provided or requests made to the relevant awarding body.

Learning will also be supported visually, with images, diagrams, subtitled videos and practical demonstration and application.

Special Considerations

An application for special considerations will be made should a learner be impacted by an adverse circumstance beyond their control at the time of a qualification assessment, such as illness, injury or accident, bereavement, domestic crisis etc.

Safeguarding
All our instructors are DBS checked and have completed either Level 2 or Level 3 in both the Safeguarding of Children and Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults.
Accessibility
Our site entrance is wheelchair accessible. The training venue is single storey with step free access and accessible amenities.
Dietary Requirements
We can cater for specific dietary requirements when notified in advance.
Private Spaces

A small private room can be provided on request for personal use, such as taking a private call, expressing milk or prayer/reflection.
