This course aims to develop your leadership potential and talent, by inspiring and equipping you to lead high performing teams and promote cross-department collaboration to optimise your contribution to organisational performance. It is designed for established middle leaders who wish to develop their own leadership capacity for improved organisational impact.
This course is 'Institute Approved' by the professional body and research organisation, The Institute of Leadership. On completion, participants who have attended all sessions and completed the ongoing assessments, will receive an Institute of Leadership Member (Level 5) Certificate and digital credential.
This course will involve attendance at four interactive face-to-face training days focusing on the following topics:
- Leading You – Exploring your leadership authenticity and ownership.
- Leadership and Culture – the ‘make or break’ for team dynamics, workplace health and performance.
- Pursuing High Performance – inspiring teamwork and playing the "infinite game" for long-lasting success.
- The Innovative Workplace – strategies to navigate and lead change to ensure your team is future ready.

The course consists of presentations, case studies, scenarios and visiting speakers, with dedicated time for discussion, group work and networking. During and between sessions, you will have access to a set of leadership development tools, resources, blogs and research accessed via the Institute of Leadership’s online “My Leadership” learning portal. In addition, you will leave each session with practical ideas and strategies to implement with your team. On completion of the programme, you will receive an Institute of Leadership digital credential in addition to an endorsed certificate of achievement.
