This course aims to increase health and safety awareness in the workplace. It covers understanding risk assessment, identifying and controlling the risks from common workplace hazards, the legal requirements related to health and safety in the workplace and what to do in response to accidents and incidents at work.
Course Objectives:
- Gain an understanding in the responsibilities of employers and employees under health and safety law and the requirements for training and competence in the workplace.
- Understand how risk assessments contribute to health and safety.
- Learn how to identify and control the risks from hazards in the workplace and how to respond to and report incidents.
- On completion of this course, you will receive a Qualsafe e-certificate issued by QE Training Academy. It is recommended that this training is refreshed every 3 years.
