Are you new to leading a team or aspiring to lead? Have you recently been appointed or promoted to a management or supervisory role? If so, keep reading!
This Early Team Leadership/ First Line Manager Course is the first level of three in the Leadership Pathways programme.
This course will involve attendance at four interactive training mornings focusing on the following topics:

- From team member to Team Leader
- The tough stuff! Change, Challenge and Choices
- Practical Leadership & Management Skills

The course consists of practical team building, leaderless and led problem solving activities, in addition to presentations, case studies, scenarios and guest speakers, with dedicated time for discussion, group work and networking. Between sessions, you are encouraged to experiment with the ideas and strategies learned on the course with your team. You will also have access to the Institute of Leadership’s online “My Leadership” learning portal, for activities and resources. On completion of the programme, you will receive an Institute of Leadership digital credential in addition to an endorsed certificate of achievement.
