This course aims to develop your leadership potential and talent, by providing a foundation of coaching and mentoring skills to assist you in the transition from team member to team leader, for improved personal effectiveness when building a team that can work well together.

This Coaching & Mentoring module will involve attendance at two interactive training mornings, focusing on the following topics:

  • Coaching Versus Mentoring - picking the right tool for the job! 
  • Practical Skills - questioning for understanding and listening for meaning.
  • Practical Skills - body language, emotions, pace and structure. 
  • Experiment with new skills, give and receive feedback to evaluate your impact 

A certificate of attendance will be awarded to all participants who complete the course.

Whilst there is no pre-requisite training to attend this course, it is the perfect follow-on CPD after completion of our Institute of Leadership Approved Early Leadership programme.
